Why hello there! The site recently had a makeover — thoughts? I know, I know; amazing, right? (LOL) I just want to thank Melissa (my friend, soon-to-be studio space roomie and blog owner of Ring The Alam) for the design and development of the SOL blog site. You rock, girl!
Okay, back to business. So remember when I told you all about the shoot Victoria and I were planning for one of her projects at school? The concept of the shoot was to demonstrate movement — beginning with the model and ending with the wardrobe. Check out two of the many shots we took below!
The Styling: The clothes are actually my own. I figured since the model was petite, my maxi skirts would give her shift and movement. Thus, no pulling was necessary. (See? It’s okay to work with what you have!)

Model: Lady Lazarus MUA: Ronnie Guions Wardrobe Stylist: Mecca Nuri Photography: Blithe Photography

I absolutely love Lady Lazarus’ movement pics. The one in the black gives the illusion that she’s floating in water…you can see a slight reflection on the skirt; give the effect that someone is staring at her through a glass! Great job Blithe!! And I love the styling Mizz Nuri! It’s not always easy to capture the right movement of a garment in a flick and w/the maxi skirt and the models petite frame, looks like that’s floating on her as well-great choice of fabrics!!! Ok I’m done critiquing…keep up the hardworking ladies (&gents)
The new blog looks amazing! Congrats! xx
